Chirnside Park Country Club Bowls – Jack Attack

The Bowls Club section of the Chirnside Park Country Club is looking at the possibility of running a modified version of the traditional form of lawn bowls for next bowls season 2020/21.

This is called Jack Attack and may appeal to non-bowling members of the community or people who are looking for a more structured bowls competition than Barefoot Bowls but don’t have the time to commit to longer formats of the game.

Teams of three would compete in a four-week competition on a midweek evening.  The game would only take about 60 minutes to complete.

Chirnside Park Womens Footy Teams Bowls Day

Finals – Saturday and Tuesday Pennant

Chirnside Park CC Bowls will have all 4 of its Saturday Pennant teams playing in finals this Saturday 14th March, and all teams are playing at home. This is the first time that this has happened in our club history and we wish all the team members well for the finals series. It will be a great day with both rinks filled with players and hopefully our teams will be successful and play again on the Sunday.
Our first team has also made the finals of Tuesday pennant and will be playing at home this Tuesday 17th March. If this team wins they will play again on Thursday
It would be great to see as many members as possible come along and support our teams on Saturday and Tuesday.

Congratulations to Kaye for being one of two recipients of the Chirnside Country Club Club Person of the year award for 2019.
